The Department of 住房和居住生活 has over 300 staff members committed to making your living environment a community focused on learning, 发展, 和验收.

Below you will find descriptions of our staff 和 how it relates to you.


行政人员

执行董事

The 执行董事 represents 住房和居住生活 to the campus community 和 is responsible for all aspects of the Department.

住宿生活处处长

The 住宿生活处处长 coordinates the day-to-day oversight of our 学生宿舍,  大厅工作人员, 危机与行为管理, 和 serves as a liaison to many offices on campus.

业务营运总监

The 业务营运总监 coordinates the business functions of the department, including supervising the contract process 和 the physical facilities.

资本总监 & 设施管理

资本署署长 & 设施管理 coordinates the facilities functions of the department, including supervising the construction 和 renovations of the physical facilities.

董事助理 & 副董事

The department has assistant directors 和 associate directors responsible for a variety of areas within the department.

文书及支援人员

The department also has a support staff of administrative 和 clerical professionals, 还有学生工作人员, that assist in the daily operations of the department.


大厅工作人员

驻场主任(RD)

The Resident Director is the full-time on-site professional responsible for a hall or complex. The RD's supervise the in-hall paraprofessional staff 和 work with all residents to establish a positive living environment 和 a sense of community. An RD acts in an advisory capacity on personal 和 academic issues, 和 helps to interpret 和 uphold university policies.

研究生住宿主任(GRD)

A Graduate Resident Director has the same responsibilities as the Residential Director (although for a smaller area), 和 is a full-time graduate student.

Assistant Resident Director (ARD)

A Assistant Resident Director works directly with a Resident Director to oversee a large hall or complex, 和 is a full-time graduate student.

高级住宿顾问(SRA)

The Senior Resident Advisor, like an RA, is a student who resides in hall. The SRA has the responsibility of assisting the complex RD or GRD in advising the complex council, coordinating complex programming efforts, 并协助更换房间.

住宿顾问(RA)

The Resident Advisor is a student who has completed a training course designed to prepare them for working with students in the residence halls. Resident Assistants live on 和 manages a floor section. It is this 大厅工作人员 member that a student will interact with most during the academic year. The RA is a great source of information 和 should be the first individual that is contacted when a student has a question or concern.

学生支援人员

住房 Ambassadors 和 Student Services Ambassadors (HA, SSA)

住房 Ambassadors 和 Student Service Ambassadors play a critical role as supporters of both future 和 current 俄亥俄州 students. The student employees work in a variety of areas, including showing their rooms during on campus event, working the guest desk at the Living Learning Center 和 Jefferson hall, as well as coordinating multiple on campus events for students.
 

办公室助理(OA)

The Office Assistant position assists residents with key issues in the residence halls. Issues may consist of being locked out of your room, lost key, or bent keys. The position also supports the main 住房和居住生活 office with projects as assigned. Outside of the residence hall office hours, if you are having issues gaining access to your room, the Welcome Desk at the Living Learning Center (LLC) is the place to go for assistance.
